Water is the best medicine to help when feeling uneasy, especially during pregnancy. Women who drink a glass of water every hour are said to have low chances of vomiting and this keeps your body hydrated too. Being hydrated is essential ffor the child’s safety thus is advised to always keep a glass of water by the bedside.
It is again one of the finest natural ways to deal with vomiting. It helps to block the acidic secretion in the stomach and proves a good intake for the digestive system. The smell and flavour of ginger, in fact, is helpful in saving you from that vomiting sensation. You can suck a piece of ginger or prepare a mixture of some drops of it with honey mixed in water to relieve yourself.
Peppermint again is helpful to calm the stomach and prevent vomiting. You can try this by adding its leaves to hot water and boiling for 5-10 minutes. Later add honey and have its tea every morning to keep that feeling away. You can even add a few drops of peppermint essential oil over a handkerchief and inhale the vapors to get over the vomiting sensation.
This vitamin being safe for the fetus helps to fight the vomiting feeling. Eat food rich in Vitmanin B6 such brown rice, avocados, banana, fish, and nuts.
Lemon’s soothing smell has a calming effect that helps to prevent the uneasy feeling. It carries Vitamin C that is healthy for pregnant women and the baby too. Make sure to take fresh lemon juice as keeping it too long will make it bitter.
Apple Cider Vinegar
This vinegar is highly beneficial for maintaining the PH of the body and neutralizes the acid content of the stomach. Its anti-microbial properties work well and help to remove all the bacteria from the body thus avoiding the possibility of vomiting.
These seeds help in digestion and reduce the nausea sensation. Its aromatic flavour is useful in calming the stomach and one can just chew some seeds when you feel uneasy. Thus, remember to keep some by your bedside before sleeping.
Remember if you are throwing up everything that you eat or drink, then these remedies may not be enough.
