Within last few years, the demand for children being an all-rounder has been increased. Almost every parent wishes their child to take part in multiple activities possible, but as not every kid is the same so some face tough problems in studies due to these extracurricular things. Thanks to Maharashtra Government for understanding this matter and hence they have taken a positive initiative towards this by launching a new home board.
According to this board, children will pursue studies from home, so it will also be called as homeschooling. The major goal of this idea is to promote the talented and all-rounder students who spend most of their time in practicing or learning other additional activities.
“At the age of 10, you can appear for class 5 exam, at the age of 13 for class 8 exam, and as a 15-year-old for class 10 (SSC) exam.” Said by State Education and Sports Minister Vinod Tawde.
Students will get help from this plan and will be able to continue with their passion as long as they want because their higher studies will not get affected from this.
State Board Chairperson Shakuntala Kale gave a statement that “The application process will be open till January 31, but we intend to extend the deadline. Students who register now will be able to appear for exams in six months.”
For registration children will have to submit their ID proofs and school-leaving certificates. This new board is expected to give relief to many guardians who are dealing with similar problems and want their child to excel in both areas.
Do you think its a good initiative ?
