The pandemic has caused many schools and educational institutions to shut and after almost 6 months, many schools have decided to open their doors to students again. A journalist, Farnaz Fassihi, shared a picture of one such school in Iran in which students were seen studying with a transparent encasement and they weren’t wearing a mask.
The picture got people talking and many expressed their concern over the right approach and how attending classes this way can affect the health of young children during this pandemic. Here is what people had to say.
The president of Iran, Hassan Rouhani, decided to reopen the schools and emphasized that education is just as important as health. “This year, we shoulder a heavier burden of responsibility toward our students,” said the president in his statement.
